Cornbread goes soggy just after one day. Miranda the owner/managerest was of no help whatsoever. Got the brush off. Terrible product and terrible service.

Outstanding service. The ladys behind the counter were courteous and helpfull. And the roasted chicken. bifanas and custards were absolutley delicious. I will be returning regularly..they clearly take pride in what they do and make the other portugese bakeries pale in comparison. Job well done.!

Stopped in today to grab some hot food and custards at about 2p.m. The display of hot and sweets are side by side. Stood in line waited my turn to be served. A Portuguese lady who served me also appeared to be the cook as she had just added some fresh Bifanas to the hot section. She asked me what I wanted. I asked her for two custards and some shrimp croquettes which they were out of, I then asked for chicken croquettes. She put them in bags and asked if there was anything else. I asked for a roasted chicken and if the bifanas were on a bun or could you buy them on their own, only to be told I had lost my turn as I started with the custards first. I could not believe it. I said lost my turn, your serving me and I am standing here. She looked at the line and said you lost your turn these two men are now in line. Made no sense to me . She walked over to the checkout and put my two bags on the back counter at the checkout and went on to serve two other people. While still waiting in line at the checkout from behind the counter she said its your turn now. What the heck. she said those two people have been served and I can serve you now. I said no thanks and left the store. This store needs to teach their staff how to treat a customer. The two gentleman who were behind me were also astonished. That was just not right.
