My wife and I went to Siam Restaurant for dinner today. Unfortunately, both of our dishes (green curry and red curry) were so inedible that we couldn't finish them. The sauce was a mixture of water and a lot of oil. There was also a very unpleasant smell. Unfortunately, when we told the staff there was no response and we had to pay for the meal without apologizing. So first of all, the restaurant is not recommended from our side. Very good Thai restaurant at the beginning of Vahrenwalder Strasse in Hanover! Spontaneously getting a table reservation at short notice on the eve of a public holiday is generally a more difficult undertaking. Many thanks to the team at Siam Thai Restaurant for trying so hard to accommodate us. We were promised over the phone a table that was actually too small for 3 people for 2 hours. It was really nice that we got a bigger table. Although the restaurant looks a bit old, it is cozy and inviting. The large windows of the corner building facing the streets make the restaurant look significantly larger. The service was very friendly and well organized. The food was prepared and served quickly. The taste and quality of the food was excellent. As a starter I had spring rolls, Tom Yam Gung soup with shrimps, mushrooms, tomatoes, leeks and Thai herbs and as a main course sweet and sour duck with various vegetables. It was really tasty. We had a great time and didn't feel under time pressure at all as the service team did a very good job. Thank you for that! We'll definitely be back!
