To say this establishment is a hidden gem is an UNDERSTATEMENT. I had business to do in the Tricity region when I needed to find a quick place to eat. Shawerma Plus came up on University and I was honestly not prepared for what was waiting for me. I came in and was greeted by the sweetest manager I have ever seen in a fast food establishment. Jawad greeted me and showed me the variety of shawarma he had and promised me it was authentic Syrian shawarma. Being a huge fan of Saj Shawarma, I asked for what I thought was going to be a small sandwhich. The sandwhich was the ENTIRE length of the brown paper bag that it came in. Jawad ensured that the saj was crisped to perfection and stuffed it with chicken and beef. I happened to strike up conversation with him (while eating this heaven sent sandwhich) and he informed me about his various philanthropy work he does for the Tricity community. The day I came in, he was supporting homeless people in Cambridge by aiding a food distribution project ran by Islamic Relief. Besides the food, he’s an overall stellar individual who’s business reflects his awesome personality. Ask for the Saj, it won’t let you down!
