Upon entering and seeing their menu+prices, I was already hesitant and wanted to walk out. Feeling embarrassed with entering and leaving, I decided to order their regular beef wrap/shawarma.
It was tastier than the donair places around. It feels like they used more spices in their meat or sauce. The french fries in the wrap was an interesting add-on too.
Although the taste was good, the serving size was smaller than other places, and it comes steep at $10.50 after taxes.
Staff was friendly, and their place is very clean (although it is expected as they just opened)
In addition, the cook/chef was cutting off the top of the donair pita bread. It looked like it was going to be thrown away. Sure, it might be a small piece, but you can add all those pieces cut off together, and that will amount to a lot of perfectly fine bread thrown away.
Service-wise, I went in with two other co-workers. The first was served his wrap in 5 minutes, but took 10 minutes for the next person, and mine took 15 minutes to make.
To Shawarma Grill: If you read this, I suggest you to think about changes. From my office, it doesn't seem like you're getting much traffic after opening week.
