Reviews are all over the place with this restaurant. My experience was pretty good. Went for dim sum. Their dim sum menu is limited but they had all the usual popular items. Taste-wise, I'd say it's the best I've had in Ottawa. Not as good as in Toronto/GTA though. Service was fine. They were a bit slow, but it wasn't too bad. Shrimp Siu Mai was delicious! Not sure what the bad reviews are about. We went in for dim dum and everything was delicious and hot. The dim sum menu is basic but they have most of the classics. Their ticketing system is a bit disorganized, make sure to check your bill at the end. We almost got overcharged. A group of us had dinner at the Shanghai ONE yesterday and all were thoroughly impressed. The service was quick, the food was prepared perfectly and we received it in a most timely fashion. Since the meal was pre-ordered for a fairly large group, we didn't specify anything (this time) that was particularly spicy (but I have enjoyed some of the spicier offering on previous visits).

This restaurant is rapidly becoming our go-to spot.
