Unfortunately, the restaurant didn't convince me. The food was average and didn't offer any special highlights. The staff was friendly, but overwhelmed, which had a negative impact on the service. The prices were average, but the overall package doesn't justify them in my opinion. In addition, the parking situation was extremely difficult, which made the visit even more difficult. Overall, I will not visit this restaurant again. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €30–40 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Parking space: Difficult to find parking

I've never had such good duck outside of Asia. Crispy skin, tender meat, and great vegetables with a sensational sauce. The fried pork belly is also sensational. Absolutely awesome. If you can't find your way around the map, which isn't entirely clear, you should simply ask the boss for advice and you won't regret it The prices are adapted to the city center location, the portions are sufficient if you order the side rice (+1€). The restaurant is nicely decorated, not too big either Parking: Downtown location, parking difficult Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €20–30 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Peking Ente Parking space: Difficult to find parking Parking options: Free of charge street parking

Let me give the conclusion first: a restaurant that Chinese people should not consider... (or a restaurant that everyone recommends to avoid after reading the reviews) I can only say that I failed to notice the various low-star Chinese reviews on Google Maps in advance... It was also because when I passed by the store entrance, I saw the conspicuous words "Xiao Nanguo" instead of Shanghai Kitchen on Google Maps, plus the entrance The menu has quite a Chinese flavor...I didn't expect it to be Chinese food targeted at foreigners. I thought it was really exquisite Shanghainese food. The only thing that was pretty good was the xiaolongbao, and the other dishes were a disaster... I have never seen such high-priced, small-volume, and unpalatable dishes in many years... I have even eaten in many Asian restaurants that cater to local tastes. It has never been so outrageous. Braised Pork: There are 6 large pieces in total. The fat meat is very greasy, the lean meat is very hard, the seasoning is average, and the odor is not removed well enough. It is barely up to the average level of an international student who has just come overseas to cook for himself. Curry chicken: It has nothing to do with the recipe on the menu. The common side dishes are randomly chopped together, with a little bit of chicken added, and a cheap curry seasoning packet from the local supermarket is mixed with water to make it ridiculous... The picture is a photo taken just after using the chopsticks a few times. Let’s get a feel for the appearance and the weight... The price on the menu photo says... nearly 15 euros... Water spinach: There is no most outrageous thing, only the more outrageous "fermented bean curd" water spinach. The fermented bean curd taste was emphasized when ordering, but when you actually eat it, it tastes extremely unpleasant and disgusting with the smell of shrimp paste... It feels like it is imitating Thai stir-fry. The French recipe is completely imitated... unimaginably unpalatable... The waitress was very responsible in collecting customers' opinions after the meal. She probably wouldn't have thought that I would bluntly say (very low emotional intelligence) that it was just "terrible"... and she asked me to tell me what was unpalatable. It was so convenient. They improve. I used a slightly gentler and more decent tone and wording than the comments to comment on one by one, and got the feedback "This curry chicken is originally made for Germans", and after a deep silence, I muttered "emm, every time Personal tastes are different.” Now I don’t have any expectations for Chinese restaurants here in Germany. They are just a helpless choice for people who are too lazy to cook and have dinner with friends. If you don’t have expectations, you will be disappointed. It really has nothing to do with taste. This meal cost more than 60 euros for two people. In my opinion, it is better to buy a few doners/a few pizzas/a few hamburger set meals. If you have no other choice and unfortunately step into this store, just order a few xiaolongbao, fried pancakes, etc...
