Giving it a 4 because I've had tea/high teas before and it was wonderful. Not so much this time for the lunch, I had the chickpea/with bbq peach sandwich and the taste was very bland. Small serving for the cost. Accompanied with a simple salad, their raspberry dressing was very tasty. As usual, the tea selection is wonderfully varied so this time, I enjoyed the caramel /vanilla decaf rooibos tea. Service was ok as she checked it and offered us hot water but otherwise, nothing over the top. After waiting for our bill for 10 min, we went to the counter.. (maybe that's what we were supposed to do in the first place but didn't know). I was really hoping to make this such a special time with my "upcoming" daughter in law but perhaps expectations were too high. Otherwise, decor and cleanliness is top notch! Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

I recently visited Secret Garden Tea Company with high expectations for a friend's birthday, but unfortunately, the customer service left much to be desired. After being seated, we were ignored for the first 10 to 15 minutes—no one even offered us water. When a waitress finally approached us, there was no greeting or acknowledgment of our presence; she seemed like she was having a rough day.Although she eventually took our order and corrected a mistake, her attention to us remained minimal throughout our visit. Even when we tried to get her attention, she seemed more focused on other customers and often forgot about us. We were left without hot water for our tea for quite some time and had to repeatedly call for her. Overall, the service was disappointing and didn't match the pleasant ambiance or the quality of the food.
