Seal Cove Neighborhood Pub is also known as Solly's. The locals here call it Solly's. Solly's used to be here but they closed down and reopened later. We came on a Wednesday night. Each night they have a daily special but the best deal is Wednesday because they have the half price appies and half price wings. We were a party of 4 and we got the following to share: 1. Sweet Coconut Prawns 2. Brewcity Onion Rings 3. Poutine 4. Honey Garlic Chicken Wings 5. Teriyaki Chicken Wings 6. Salt and Pepper Chicken Wings 7. Chili Chicken The food was ok. I found the salt and pepper wings and the onion rings very salty. Out of everything, I liked the sweet coconut prawns. It had a nice hint of coconut flavor that didn't over power the flavor of the shrimp. Service was great. I mean service was 4 stars but food was really 2 stars. There are not a lot of pubs competing with Breakers. So, I guess it is good there is Solly's. The non-locals don't even know that this pub exist because its very tucked away in Seal Cove Road. Also, you need a car to get here. You could take the bus but the bus schedule in PR is horrible. On the plus side, if you are coming here by car, they have a very big parking lot.
