La carte des vins est impressionnante, elle ravira tous les palais. Un personnel amical attend les clients tout au long de l'année. Cet endroit offre un service énorme à ses visiteurs. La plupart du temps, on trouve ici une ambiance agréable. Les experts du guide Michelin ont testé ce bar et il fait maintenant parti du guide Michelin.

Our anniversary dinner at Schreiberei. Quite an experience, though not entirely the one we hoped for. We had made reservations three weeks in advance and sent several emails to remind them it was our special night. Unfortunately, we never received a response or confirmation. On the day of our dinner, I sent a final email requesting two dirty martinis to be served upon our arrival. I felt disappointed as I was trying to make this a special experience. When we got there, things took a downturn. The staff was unwelcoming and seemed unaware of our reservation or our emails. There were no martinis waiting for us, and our presence went unacknowledged. Although our server was nice, there was a language barrier, which made communication difficult. Oddly we were immediately recommended a very expensive bottle ($200) of wine without any consideration for our preferences or budget. Later, a different server who claimed to be the manager came over. She talked only about herself and her career also caused some confusion with the other server as to who would take our order. When we asked if she had received our emails, she expressed serious concern. Well maybe not that serious. She never actually checked or followed up with us. Not only that, even after telling her of our special night, she made no acknowledgment with with a personal congratulations or a small treat from the kitchen (I’m not looking for any freebies, just disappointed they made zero effort for a couple who choose their restaurant to celebrate a milestone) Despite the disappointing service, the food was good, and the setting was beautiful. Portions, as others have noted, are small. However, for a restaurant with such a reputation, they should definitely be more responsive and attentive to their guests’ communications and needs. Overall, while we enjoyed the atmosphere and cuisine, the service left much to be desired. Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

Hello Edward, Thank you for the constructive criticism. Unfortunately, we were unable to find the error for the unheeded emails that evening. However, we were able to rectify the technical error with the reservation the next morning. We are truly sorry that your anniversary did not go as planned. We will continue to sensitize and train our service staff in order to constantly improve our service. We hope to welcome you back soon to prove ourselves once again.
