A typical excursion restaurant, and you can tell that the operators don't need it. All places with a beautiful view of the Ruhr are RESERVED. The award is probably based on the vehicle price. Waiters (probably all family members and not trained waiters) completely overwhelmed. Drinks took 25 minutes, food another 20. It took another 30 minutes for the food to arrive. A second cyclist has been ordered 3 times in the meantime and was forgotten each time. The salad was missing during the meal, I had to ask 4 times and when the schnitzel was almost eaten, the side salad came. All in all, complete overwhelm. Maybe you shouldn't just concentrate on supposed regular customers, because that way we won't be able to... Absolutely recommended for events and family celebrations. My parents celebrated their diamond wedding there with 43 people. From the first consultation to the end of the celebration, everything was great! The ambience itself is very nice and the room for the celebration was beautifully prepared. The starters, the buffet and the dessert were very good and extremely tasty. This was also emphasized by the guests. This celebration was accompanied by attentive and friendly service from the very committed and very friendly owner and innkeeper. An absolutely recommended location for a nice meal for two or a celebration. We would be happy to recommend the Schevener Hof without reservation and would be happy to be guests there again.
