No one who passes by would ever stop if he hadn´t heard or read about it. In our case it was the translation of some Google Maps Rezessions that led us there. Of course they dont speak english and definately no german, but the whole team is very willing to understand and explain to you. This causes some really funny moments for both sides. So service is great. You are sitting directly beneth the street shadowed by a nice sunroof. The street seems to be a lost one, not even one car passing by while we sat there. behind there is a plazza. Empty as the street, nice to see. The prices are more than okay on the first view. On the second - after you saw the dishes, they seem to be cheap as the food is really enough. On the third, afert the first bite, you know they are cheap. So what did we try? My daugther had a Risotto with Salcchicha and funghi porcini. I was supprised. Normally the risotto is overdone, slimy, rarely pithy. This one is really aldente as it should be. I thought the salcchicha would cover all the taste of the mushrooms but it didnt. It was real fun to enjoy this. My wife tried the Spagetti Carbonara. I didnt understand her joice. Livorno isnt the place for that kind of Pasta. But it was okay. Really. It was different but okay. My son ordered tagliata. He thought that will also be pasta mith ruccola and Grana. I could have told him, but we didnt speak about because I know he loves meat and I didn take part of his decission. When he got it, he was a bit disappointed. But only until the first bite, then his eyes shone.My maincourse was Rabbit. Funny to order, because the waiter tried to ask if I want it as a Ragou or fried. We didnt understand each other. And so I got it fried. Disapointment again. But without any reason. It was a sensation. Although it looked dry it was juicy, spicy and tasted great.The heat on this day was great. Reason to get up quickly after eating. But everything was so brilliant that we decided to try the desserts instead of an ice cream.My son took cheesecake on pistachio bottom, my wife Tartuffo that was so good that I ordered a second one.For 4 people we paid with 3 desserts and drinks almost 55 euros. We had no wine at noon in the heat.A clear recommendation on my part and I believe that we did not taste the real specialties of the trattoria and were already thrilled.Alexander
