Brilliant! I can't think of anything else about it. Our waiter was very attentive, hard-working and friendly. The food is fantastic, the Vitello Tonnato is a must try. The pinsa are great and plentiful. Finally, a very creamy tiramisu and the evening was a complete success. We loved coming to San Pietro so often. We don't live far from here and the food and drinks were always great, but since the junior manager took over the restaurant, you are apparently only perceived as a popular customer if you go to “St. Peter Society”. Unfortunately, there were also a few times when something was wrong with the bill, but since we blindly trusted that everything was okay when we paid, we always only figured it out afterwards when the total suddenly seemed quite high. What we found really cheeky on our last visit - we were a large group (we also had an obviously pregnant woman with us) and we had a few bottles of Prosecco and a total bill of over €600 - we always had a bottle of Prosecco when we ordered , also asked for 2 carafes of tap water. The waitress then told us that they only give out one at a time. Absolutely incomprehensible if enough other drinks (+food) are consumed. She then brought us two carafes of soda water (which we hadn't ordered), which were then charged for a few euros (can't remember exactly how much). After we had generally been treated like second-class customers all evening (including by the junior manager), we were too stupid to complain about it, so we paid and left. None of our group wants to go there again after this evening, even though we don't live far away, we've all always enjoyed going there and there are really few/almost no alternatives here in St Peter. It's really such a shame and also frustrating when (regular) customers are treated like this.
