Takeout only. Food was delicious and there was a sufficient quantity (but not for leftovers). Prices seemed on the steep side for the quantity compared to peers. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30

UPDATE: I'm loath to make this update since my previous review was 5 stars across the board. Since the restaurant changed hands I've really noticed quality and service has lowered but more importantly the allergy awareness is almost zero. I went the other day for an appetizer, just after the lunch hour, I was the only person in the restaurant save for a few take out persons. I ordered and said I have a peanut allergy. I waited for a little over 30 minutes for my food and it arrived with peanuts. I mentioned I can't eat the dish as it's full of peanuts (it was never served this way before either but I always mention my allergy) and was told "oh I thought it only came with peanut sauce so I just took that off the order". Allergies should always be noted on the ticket regardless of if you as the person taking the order think there isn't an allergen in the meal. The dish was sent back to be redone and I had to wait a further 30 minutes. I popped in for an appetizer, not a full meal, I was pretty suprised at the slow service, the disregard for allergen safety, and I'm just overall disappointed that what was my favourite spot has become less than enjoyable. I would say food is still fairly good but it isn't as fantastic as it used to be. And what happened to the limes? I've only been served lemons since the switch and it doesn't quite cut it for my flavour expectations of this type of cuisine. Previous Review: I've been eating here since the restaurant first opened its doors and can confidently declare that Saigon Night has some of the best Vietnamese food in the city! Not only is every meal delicious but the service is always amazing and the prices are reasonable. Something that I really value is the staff awareness of allergies. I have a peanut allergy and I have no concerns eating here because I know I will be safe! If you're looking for a bite to eat look no further, you won't regret it!
