The best burek (pita) we tried during our Sarajevo trip was definitely at Buregdžinica Sač. Compared to all the other places I ate in Bosnia, the taste here is number one! We tried the meat pita, the spinach pita, and the Bosnian manti. They were all cooked traditionally, perfectly crispy, and very juicy inside. I highly recommend having these delicious pastries with the Pavlaka sauce; they complement each other wonderfully. A quick tip for large groups: The service can be a bit slow, so don't wait for a waiter to bring your food. It is much faster to go to the counter and take your order yourself (self-service). If you are more than one person, have one person grab a table while the other one gets the food! A fast, authentic, and superb taste stop in the heart of Baščaršija. Five stars without a doubt!
