You have ordered one of our popular menu items - Deep Fried Chicken Knee Cartilage, it is the knee part of the chicken and it would be gristle. I think the chicken “karaage” you are referring to is our Signature Popcorn Chicken which is made of boneless and skinless chicken breast! We are sorry that there might have been a misunderstanding when the order was placed - we have had customers came in and said they would like “chicken karaage” and the staff would assume they are referring to “chicken cartilage”. Hello Jack: Thank you for trying us out and leaving us a feedback. When you placed the order, the girl had advised you, like we do with all our customers that it would take 10 to 15 mins to get your order ready. All our fried chicken are made to order and we would give customers an estimate of the waiting time depending on the traffics at that moment. The 3 mixed pieces chicken you have ordered takes longer time in the fryer; hence the 10 to 15 mins waiting time the girl has advised. While your fried chicken is in the fryer; our staff had to continued making the fried chicken for the other customers. Depending what other customers have ordered as different fried chicken have different frying time; and as I mentioned earlier, the 3 mixed pieces requires longer frying time because of the drumsticks. Hence, customers who ordered popcorn chicken after you might have gotten their order before you. We can’t let the fryer sit there empty while waiting for your 3 mixed pieces to come out of the fryer. Our staff tried to explain it to you but you wouldn’t listen; as a good gesture, our staff refunded you the order even though your order was ready within the 15 mins time frame that our staff had advised. We take customer services very seriously; that’s why right after you left, we have advised our staff, before placing the order, to triple confirm with the customers whom wishes to order the 3 mixed pieces that they are ok with the 15 mins wait.
