Food was mixed. Two of the pizzas were actually good, so I’d rate the food 8/10. That said, the waiting time was not worth it - we waited around 30 minutes for the pizzas. The service, however, was extremely poor and ruined the entire experience. The restaurant was not busy at all. Besides us, there were only two other tables occupied, so workload is not a valid explanation. From the moment we arrived, no one seated us. We asked if there were free tables for two, were told “yes,” and then the staff disappeared without any guidance or follow-up. It was our first visit, and we were left standing without direction. Once seated, we were given only one napkin for two people. The staff was barely around the whole time. Our waitress was frequently on her phone instead of paying attention to the tables. Regardless of circumstances, phones should be put away and customers should come first. The worst part was dessert. We ordered it and were forgotten twice. We reminded the waiter politely after about 15 minutes, waited again, and still nothing. At that point we just wanted to leave and asked for the dessert to be removed from the bill. Only then were we told it couldn’t be removed. As soon as we asked to receive it instead, the dessert arrived within seconds, which made it clear it had been sitting there the whole time. This genuinely ruined our evening. The staff needs better training, or the restaurant needs to hire new staff. Staff 0/10.

Food is great, but the service.. Waiter did not inform a family with small children that dinner will not be served faster than 1.5h. After waiting one hour already and learning about it by asking myself I felt like a hostage in the situation. If this place aims to have students working then some basic training must be done. Simply horrible.

Maybe it is better during the busy season. It has so much possibility and I really wanted to like it, but it was my least favorite place I've stayed in a while. The restaurant was nice and good pizza, but at 5pm they were already out of the first 2 dishes I tried to order and service was very slow - the staff were nice but they literally never came to check on me unless I called them over. The room was fine but some small things would make it better. First, use an extension cord so I can plug in my phone without having to climb behind the bed. Second, make a way to hang the shower sprayers so I can hang it during the shower if I want without spraying water all over the bathroom. Third, with the restaurant only open noon-8pm, have a few items available for snacks in the late night or morning - if you don't want to provide them in the room charge, put them in a basket and ask people to pay for what they take; I think most people would be honest. Also, more information on the mill please. I never saw it or was told anything about it by staff. Also, there was a terrible alarm that went off early in the morning. I'm assuming that was unusual, but unfortunately it happened the night I was there. It is a peaceful place but I was very ready to leave. Service: 3
