We got to Room 21 by chance because we walked by and we were looking for a place to eat dinner. It was full, but we were able to sit inside with a cocktail until a table freed up. The atmosphere inside and outside was really nice, service was friendly, and the food and drinks were incredible. Can sincerely recommend to anyone visiting Monopoli! Room 21 impresses across the board with its well thought-out concept and maximum friendliness. Every detail is right: from the tasteful furnishings to the stylish cutlery to the perfectly selected thickness of the napkins - everything has been thought through here. The pleasant background music contributes to a relaxed atmosphere, and the quiet location with a view of the church tower completes the ambience. The drinks menu leaves nothing to be desired and offers an excellent selection, which is complemented, for example, by extremely tasty non-alcoholic cocktails. The clear menu speaks for itself: quality over quantity. The dishes are a culinary highlight, taste first-class and stylishly prepared. The very friendly service ensures that you feel completely comfortable. Overall it was a perfect evening with very tasty food. If you are looking for a cocktail bar with soft music, soft lights and quality service, with an adjoining atmospheric restaurant, in a characteristic historic centre, Room 21 is just what you need. I was there for dinner, but I promised myself I would return, also to try the experience of the bar area. The environment is very characteristic, in stone and modern furnishings: the small room with a few tables is really welcoming, ideal both for a romantic dinner and for a quiet evening with friends or family. The menu is not particularly vast (if, therefore, you are among those people who do not like different foods, I would not recommend it), on the other hand the foods are prepared and served with care and attention to detail (also using cutting-edge cooking methods) , without taking anything away from our local taste and flavours. Each dish must be savored first with sight, then with smell and, finally, with taste. The service is also promoted: kind, discreet, prepared and very polite guys. The prices are certainly not those of a restaurant, but we are in the historic center of Monopoli, where the price trend is slightly higher than average, but the general level of the place is worth the price paid. Well done. Vegetarian options: There are (or, in any case, feasible) vegetarian dishes on the menu Parking: Room 21 is in the historic center. You need to look for parking in the area of the central square and surrounding streets, where almost all parking is paid. Wheelchair accessibility: The cocktail bar is located on the ground floor and is therefore accessible for disabled people. The internal rooms in the restaurant area, however, are accessed via some rather narrow stone steps, not suitable for a wheelchair to pass.
