Be careful when ordering. After we finished our appetizers and main course and were waiting for an espresso because we were already full, the restaurant brought out an additional steak costing €40 that we never ordered. I explained that we had not ordered a second steak, but they insisted that we had. Eventually, the waiter told me it would be charged to my bill regardless. Not wanting to make a scene, I asked them to box up the entire steak to go. That said, the food itself was excellent. I have eaten steak all over the world, including Argentina, Japan, and Mexico, and this was genuinely one of my favorite steak restaurants. I just wish the restaurant would acknowledge and take responsibility for its mistakes. Aside from that issue, it is a great place if you want a break from Italian carbs. Perhaps we have found the best meat restaurant in the Prati area. The restaurant presents itself in an elegant way and everything is taken care of in detail, from the modern design (with an eye to the past), to the mise en place and the impeccable service. At the entrance and near the seats (in the main hall) you can admire the cuts of meat which, from the flavor that explodes in the dishes, are the result of careful selection. We "created" a small tasting for two from the menu, starting with the beef tartare, then moving on to the grill with sow and beef again, to finish, and it was all fantastic. They didn't have the wine chosen on the card, but we took advice on the same type (and same price) and we were very satisfied there too: after all, to accompany an excellent meat dinner you need a wine that's up to par... and they did. they know. Romanzo.22 has just been born in the Capitoline restaurant scene, but we will definitely be back for the next chapter.
