We were unpleasantly surprised. We went for two spritzes on a Sunday evening, with the intention of also ordering various fried foods. First of all, we were informed that of the three fried foods we wanted to order from the list, not even one was available. The explanation? They are closed on Monday and Tuesday, therefore they do not stock up for the aperitif and dinner hours on Sunday evening. We therefore limit ourselves to just two spritzes, but we are still left with a placemat, cutlery and some breadsticks, which we don't touch. Once the spritzers are finished, we go to the cash register. Total: €12. Please note that we only drank the 2 spritzes, without consuming anything else. We were told that, in reality, we had also eaten the breadsticks included in the cover charge, which we absolutely hadn't done. The cashier insists she got the information from a waitress, thus calling us liars. In the end he made us pay €8 for the two spritzes, only because I insisted on reiterating that we hadn't touched the breadsticks, as he could easily verify at the table without crumbs or wrappings. Not only poorly supplied, but also rude in calling customers liars to pocket €4 cover charge. We are from Montagnana, but they will no longer see us and we will advise against going there. Place to avoid, definitely too expensive for the few foods they have available. Rude staff and accuse customers of being liars to make them pay even for the food they DIDN'T EAT. €4 more for "eating" the breadsticks placed on the table plus the cover charge, when we didn't even touch them, we drank two spritzes and that was it. I'm really appalled by their behavior, and then they complain that few people always go there. I give one star because you can't give less. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I arrived on Saturday evening around closing time, but the owner was immediately kind and welcoming in seating us, preparing the place settings and turning on the TV and music. We ate a Schiacciata Montagnanese with Parmigiano Reggiano and Prosciutto Crudo Veneto D.O.P., complete with chips. Unique quality of food, a day later I still salivate thinking about it. Very clean place and courteous and well-trained staff. Very kind owners with whom we also exchanged a few chats after the meal. It's worth a lot, highly recommended.
