Very basic place, known mainly as a refreshment point for tourists and foreigners visiting Castelcivita. From a qualitative point of view, the menu leaves a lot to be desired... in a place called "Il Porcino", the customer, obviously, is tempted to order dishes based on porcini mushrooms or accompanied by porcini mushrooms. In this restaurant the porcini mushrooms were the worst element (they were chopped and had a very strong acidic flavour, as if lemon had been used as a condiment, furthermore they were full of oil), followed by the house appetizer "Il Porcino" which , at the price of €10.00, included: poor quality ham, old and dry cheese, dried aubergines and a bean salad that was already inedible from the smell. The service is what allowed me to give 2 stars instead of 1, the staff at the tables are welcoming and helpful. The final bill was absolutely not adequate for the experience we had, too high.
