La plupart du temps, Ristorante des Alpes Cortina vous assure une atmosphère sympa. I came for the restaurant, but unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience. I ordered gnocchi with mushrooms and cheese, and was served overcooked gnocchi swimming in cheese sauce, with mushrooms I couldn’t taste because of all the cheese. I suspect the dish had been prepared in a microwave – that’s exactly how it tasted: all soft and without any texture. I’ve also never had bread so dry, hard, and crumbly. The waiters, however, were very nice and provided quick, attentive service. Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Service: Dine in Price per person: €20–30

I brought my group here (17 people) for a dinner and everything went great. I’m the service was really good and everyone enjoyed their meals. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

To start with the positives: The decor was cozy and inviting and the waiters were really pleasant and quick to serve us. As for the food... I ordered an entrecot steak which I told the waiter should be medium. It was served very quickly (5-10 minutes) and came out bloody red. The meat was obviously rare. This should have been obvious to both the chef and the waiter, as the steak was served sliced. I was starving and I didn't have much faith in the chef, so instead of sending it back, I ate it. The meat was chewy and bland. My girlfriend ordered gnocchi in cheese sauce. I suspect that this was frozen and then heated up in the microwave before serving. There's no way it was fresh. She was starving as well but only ate 1/3 of the plate which says it all. I highly recommend going anywhere but here. Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Service: Dine in Price per person: €20–30
