I spent 3 days in this cute hotel in late august. The positives: very good and modern SPA with indoor and outdoor pool, steam, 3 types of sauna, gym, relax zones, climbing wall, e-bikes, tennis, and massage to ease the soreness. Also very good breakfast with juice squeezer and dedicated omelette/crepes cook. Friendly staff, acted quickly when I asked a topper for my bed. 3 phase EV (not free but honest pricing) charging points (3 in the free garage and 1 in the outside parking, I charged my Tesla at 11 kW). I couldn’t taste the restaurant but there’s another independent cute little restaurant just outside that can bill your room (great burgers and steaks, thanks guys!). The negatives (could easily be improved): the room could be a bit more comfortable and cozy, you would expect wood paneled walls and ceilings in this area, the shower is ok but small and a bit too plasticy, the lighting of the bathroom should use warmer lights and the bed could use a better mattress and more pillows (sleeping well to me is worth 50% of the vote). The soundproofing of the room is good although the hotel is located on a B road so the traffic can be heard as soon as you open the window. Rooms in modern hotels have air exchange systems (VMC) although in this season you could just leave the window slightly open and enjoy the pure outside air. I got a good deal for 3 nights so at this price I would certainly consider coming back to Sporthotel Zoll next time I visit beautiful Vipiteno and take advantage of the very good spa and other services.
