fisherman fish During our vacation in Sicily we also went to Marinella di Selinunte. We then had dinner at "Da Salvo". Service: In my opinion, the service was very friendly and attentive. We also had a good relationship with the children. The food came very promptly. The ambiance is typical for a Sicilian restaurant and I would describe it as cozy. Before ordering, we were also told what alternatives to the menu were available. Freshly caught fish preferably. - 4/5 Eat: Normally, in Sicily, three courses are eaten. We deviated from that and put together a menu ourselves. In my case it was grilled swordfish combined with fries on an extra plate. Served with an Insalata Mista. I found the salad (consisting of iceberg lettuce and tomatoes) a bit boring. The fries, on the other hand, were great. Nice and thin baked. The swordfish was also well grilled and prepared. Overall I was satisfied. - 4/5 Price-performance ratio: I found the prices reasonable for the food and the quality. - 4/5 Conclusion: Da Salvo is worth a visit. Nevertheless, I would try a different restaurant the next time I visit Marinella di Selinunte. - 4/5 Kid-friendliness: From my point of view a child-friendly restaurant. Without us having to ask, a high chair was brought for the 3-year-old. Also one or the other little fun was made with her. Parking: There is parking along the street if you can get one. Might get tight in peak season. Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is completely level and can also be easily entered by wheelchair users.
