I am responding to you point by point in English, even though we both know that you are Italian, despite your insults towards me and the rest of the staff who, in your opinion, "being Italians always try to cheat people." 1a & b. During our phone conversation, I offered you a suite (no mountain view but comfortable and quiet...). I am puzzled about how you could have heard noise from the worksite since you arrived at 8 pm on Saturday. However, this is just the first of many inconsistencies in your tale. The initial room did not meet your expectations, and my colleague offered two superior interconnecting rooms with a wonderful view of the mountains, located on the front of the hotel, on the third floor. Anyone who has visited Courmayeur knows that before Christmas, it is low season, and the village is very quiet with virtually no traffic. 2. You requested a topper, and we added an extra-soft mattress to both rooms, no reply from you... 3. Each room has a heating thermostat, allowing our guests to regulate the temperature themselves. During one of your outbursts, you even telled that the room was too hot. 4. Strange... you never mentioned that. 5a & b. I have witnesses who can attest that I have never been aggressive with you, even when you laughed in my face and continued insulting the hotel and the staff. When have I been rude and impolite? After the first terrible night, I suggested that our hotel might not be suitable for you, in order to avoid to endure another terrible experience on the second night. 6. After my colleague showed you two front-facing rooms (superior single use...), you inquired about the rate for this accommodation, and she told you the rate that you’ve found at your final bill. Perhaps you forgot that during our phone conversation, I mentioned having two single rooms available, each with a different rate, which you failed to mention. Even before I printed the bill, you immediately began by saying, "let's see," already poised to uncover any potential overcharges. You forgot to mention that, in agreement with the management and due to your repeated aggressive behavior, we decided to apply a lower rate and did not charge any additional fee for the presence of your dog or for the late check-out. Anyway,Dear Sir ,Thank you for your review. I'd like to close this reply by offering you a small suggestion: genuine British individuals would never have treated hotel staff the way you treated us.
