Quality food is not always easy to find, but at La Cave restaurant it is possible. A positive gastronomic experience. The aesthetics of the place are suggestive and fascinating. As we were travelling to ask alpine resort, I felt it essential to introduce my family to the traditional cheese fondue! When I did a little searching round, La Cave seemed to be the best (possibly only) option in Bardoneccia, so we decided to give it a try. It took a little finding as it's not on the "main" street, but it's rather charming and nicely decorated inside. The staff were exceptional and happy to deal with our non-fondue eating fussy types and they each got something they loved. The fondue was obviously the star of the show and very much lived up to my hopes. We had the traditional option (Savoyarde) and the selection of meats, pickles and bread was just amazing. All who participated loved it and even the fussy kids tried it and enjoyed very much. A nice selection of wine and very reasonable for such a treat. When we get back to Bardoneccia, this will be repeated!
