As we were passing through, the choice of place was made based on the reviews we found, after reading about excellent boiled meat and exceptional typical Piedmontese dishes. Unfortunately, the disappointment wasn't long in coming. We arrive at 7.30pm, lights off and door closed but the sign: open. The owners open us and in a freezing climate they accompany us to the table. The lady approaches and starts listing some dishes, without giving us any menus. Having read online about a menu with tastings from the trolley of boiled meats and first courses etc, we asked if there had been the possibility of receiving it and let her do it. He begins to bring us a piece of excellent quality fassona, while Russian salad and raw salami are average. Subsequently, as first courses we expected something more typical Piedmontese, but to our great disappointment we were served a rice salad (with supermarket condiriso) and watered-down and bland gorgonzola gnocchi. The disappointment continues with the second course, 2 slices of tasteless roast (served without side dish). To conclude, 2 types of cheeses were brought with a cherry jam. The environment has remained completely stuck in the 70s, with that patina of melancholy and sadness. Paper tablecloths, unset tables. The bathrooms bordering on decency, dirty and malfunctioning. The only positive note, in addition to the fassona joke, was the bill (for two "menus" + house wine + 2 coffees €60), which leads this review to have 2 stars. I'm sorry but we won't be returning.
