We went to Taverna Cuma Steakhouse attracted by the numerous positive reviews. Unfortunately we left disappointed. Nice atmosphere, reminiscent of a medieval village. Welcoming and kind staff, but service with many shortcomings, they seemed to be beginners: to find out what the minimum weight of the matured meat was we had to ask the chef, who couldn't even tell me what the precise weight was, so he advised me to opt for the entrecote Argentina (minimum weight 250 g from the menu). When they served the starter they forgot to bring the plates to share it. When the main course arrived, the dishes were still on the table, but these are small oversights that can happen on a Saturday evening. The most unpleasant surprise was at the end, at the bill, when I was shown the weight of the meat ordered: an Argentina entrecote, from the menu weighing at least 250 g, we were served about 350 grams, a cut of meat with mushrooms, there they served around 350g, a huge dish! So overall they arbitrarily added about a pound and a half without anyone having asked them, and when the owner complained about it, the response was that it's normal because you have to consider the bone! If I had known before, it wouldn't have been a problem, but finding out in the end was not very pleasant. Overall the food wasn't bad, but I would have liked more clarity from the staff and owner.
