To start with the positive, the staff is friendly and attentive. That's as far as the positives go from my experience. I went in and asked the staff for the "Menú del Giorno" if you know what that is then you will understand why this was such a bad experience. After asking, the staff told me a few items that were supposedly on the menú del giorno. So I and my family happily ordered from said "menú" Once the food arrived, it was possibly the saltiest food I have ever had at any restaurant. Every dish was salty, from the starter to the side. It was unbearable. I'm not one to complain about food unless it's really bad. After the meal I went to pay and the staff charges 175 Euro for 4 people! Now if you know what the menu del giorno is then you will know that it is typically between 16-20 euro for a meal that includes a first plate, second plate, side, wine, coffee and water. This place charged me for each individual item. The complaint is that I clearly asked for the menu del giorno and the staff told me that is what I was ordering from. So in short, this place lied, and took advantage of me. But, lesson learned is, if they don't have a printed "menú del giorno" don't expect to get the same deal. I advise everyone who are going near Fiumicino Airport-Rome, to dine-in in Crudi e Bollicine. They have apparently very simple dish but its more than delicious . Usually I don’t have dinner, and in case then it’s one dish at dinner time, but I couldn’t resist asking the third while i was already full.
