Definitely the best sushi in East Van. The fish was fresh, service was great, and they gave us tea when we sat down. The deep fried California roll might be the best I’ve ever had and the few special rolls to accompany it were delicious. One of the rolls had almost an entire mango cut up on it I’ll be back for sure!! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: CA$20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We had a quick dinner here and really enjoyed it. The sushi was delicious and the menu was pretty large. The portions were huge, way bigger than we were expecting, and the presentation of each dish was top notch. We also felt like the prices were very fair. Our visit to Kuro Sushi & Bar was a delight from start to finish. Our server was very attentive and super friendly and overall amazing. She ensured our tea was always full and even gave us additional spices for our food. I had the Udon Beef Soup which was a standout – rich broth, tender beef, and perfectly cooked udon noodles. I'm already planning to make it my go-to dish on future visits. The Avocado Yam Roll was equally impressive, with a perfect balance of fresh flavours that showcased the restaurant's commitment to quality. Overall, Kuro Sushi & Bar deserves a solid 5 out of 5 stars. The impeccable service, and delectable dishes exceeded our expectations. I'm eagerly anticipating my next visit to savor more of their culinary delights. Highly recommended! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
