There's not enough words to tell how warm Carmen and David are, and how much to go out of their way to make you feel at home and welcome. We were stranded in Camrose because of the weather and we wanted something to do, and we went to this restaurant. It's a nice place with games and means of entertainment and they provide good food there in a very relaxed atmosphere for socialization . If you are from the area you should go and check it out. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I’ve been to retro even before it was called retro and it’s always been a place I would happily go back to! I’ve spent many kareoke nights among others where I could go relax, be myself, and unwind. Carmen and Dave take great care to connect when the community and always find time to say hi. Some of my favourite eats from retro including the chicken burgers (only place I’ll get them now) and the corn dogs(because what place gives high quality options but also something for the picky eaters? Retro does!) the plays is also beautifully decorated with plenty of art from the community ( also for sale). All in all, retro is always worth checking out! I have many grate memories there and I never leave disappointed even when it’s a solo trip! Oh also did I mention the arcade games, pool, and hockey table? Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Karaoke, Chicken Wings, Onion Rings, Dry Ribs, Chicken Burger, Burgers Vegetarian options: Fries, onion rings, ect Dietary restrictions: Always open and honest about ingredients and since it’s prepared by request you can always ask to cut the cheese lol(pun intended)
