This week we were looking for a nice place to have dinner with five French guests and we ended up at restaurant Suus in Best. Even though there was a cocktail party going on, we got a nice table in the nicely decorated conservatory. It immediately felt homely and warm. The staff deserves praise: incredibly friendly, hospitable and always willing to help. The wine list was a refreshing surprise, with clear descriptions of the wines and a nice selection to choose from. The food? Phenomenal. For this price point you can enjoy dishes of exceptional quality. The menu is clear with something for everyone. We were surprised by the chef for the starter and it was a hit. The ribeye was wonderfully tender, perfectly prepared and accompanied by flavorful vegetables. The guinea fowl with tomato risotto was particularly tasty, and here too, clear attention had been paid to the delicious accompanying vegetables. Everything just felt right. But what really stays with us is the incredibly delicious piece of pizza that we were also allowed to taste. It will definitely be on my list for next time! All in all a fantastic experience. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys delicious food in a nice atmosphere! 5 stars, without a doubt.
