This hotel is in the process of changing management. It will certainly improve a lot with the renovations carried out. It is extremely well located, it is a typical hotel for the region. We can catch the boat that goes to Lake Thun just 30m away. Nearby activities: Thun lake tourist boat 30mts. Several tourist regions nearby to visit by car or train, this is just 2 km away. Rooms: 4 Service: 4 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view, Quiet, Great value

Would give zero stars if I could. We booked through Booking, there was no one there at 11:30 in the evening, you had to call and wait. Then a drunk guy came and discovered that the hotel was overbooked. After an eternity of discussion, he offered us a single room with an additional mattress on the floor, as we were already completely exhausted, in response to our request for a solution. The room was worse than in an Indian flophouse, with a shared shower with dripping taps and not acceptable even for hardened travelers. Unfortunately, the guy at the counter was so drunk that he couldn't get us a room in another hotel, so we had to leave 45 minutes later, at 11:15 p.m., exhausted and now looking for somewhere to sleep.

The hotel was great. The room was completely OK and the location was great. But the innkeeper really disappointed me. Now to the problem. I called that I forgot my jacket in the closet. I asked to take a look immediately because the jacket is very important to me. He said there were new guests in the room. I asked him to ask the guests if they would give out the jacket before they took it with them. He confirmed that to me too. However, he didn't ask and waited until the new guests had already left the hotel and noticed that the jacket was no longer there. So my guess came true and my jacket was stolen. I've never experienced that before and hence this review. Thank you dear innkeeper for nothing.
