After years of being a loyal customer at another chip shop, I am still happy with our new place, closer to home. Smooth operation and correct approach to the staff. The meat and fries seem to be made of slightly better quality than standard fried food. We came here on the recommendation of someone else and have not regretted it for a moment. The staff is very friendly and obliging. The food is well prepared. The mussels were a bit bland in taste. Several tables are close to the bar. That causes a lot of noise, because there are also people waiting there to pick up their dishes. There's a big dog running around in the kitchen. I don't think this is such a good idea for a restaurant. Ate here for the first time with a group of eight people. Luckily we made a reservation because the place was quite full and this turned out to be the case for several evenings. Menu with typical brasserie dishes and a menu with many mussel preparations. A decent aperitif and wine list and a beer selection including local beers. The choice went to spicy (combined with garlic on request, which was no problem) and to the house mussels (fennel and ricard). Both were real top preparations, full mussels in a generous portion, well prepared and excellently seasoned. You really don't have to go to a renowned restaurant to eat delicious mussels, Anjo is proof of that. The service was also cordial and smooth, kudos to Edwin who was very friendly, efficient and personable and left our table wanting for nothing. You rarely come across such a level of service in Belgian eateries, of any level. Top! The price for drinks and food is about the same as everywhere, the interior is modern and tastefully decorated and you don't really have the feeling of eating in an average chip shop. If you are in the area and want a nice portion of mussels, don't hesitate. Parking: sufficient, free parking in the immediate vicinity Wheelchair accessibility: there is a climbing path to the entrance, and there are no barriers for wheelchairs in the restaurant.
