I always drove past this place, but never went into this interesting looking social bar. Sadly my first visit here was on the last day this bar was open. It closed yesterday for the final time. I went early afternoon and sat outside with friends (including one of the regulars) for an hour or so. The patrons were a friendly group of people sharing the last day of their neighbourhood bar, and helping to empty the inventory of ample beverages. There were many conversations and many laughs as people enjoyed their last drinks together with pizza and some tears. It will reopen as a bakery.

The Relax has been our local for the past 2 years since we moved from the north end. A very friendly and social place compared to bars in the north end and the prices are way better.
