Ravenna Country Market has left an indelible impression on my heart from the moment my husband and I stepped through its doors. We stumbled upon this quaint market while hiking the Bruce Trail in the beautiful Beaver Valley, a part of the mesmerizing Blue Mountains in Ontario. Although our visit was cut short due to the imminent closing time, we were captivated by the warm and inviting atmosphere, the enticing menu options, the tasteful decor, and above all, the excellent customer service. As a seasoned culinarian with over 40 years of experience, I have always strived to provide service that is nothing short of exceptional, and Ravenna Country Market delivered just that. The cleanliness and impeccable sanitation of this charming café were evident with every step we took. Even though I only ordered a humble herbal grapefruit tea, I was promptly attended to by a gracious host who not only offered assistance in preparing my tea but also inquired about my preferred water quantity and the inclusion of milk. In today's world, it is disheartening to witness the decline in customer service, with the expectation of a hefty tip at the end. I must admit that this tiny country store surpasses many of the well-known establishments in Ontario, and I hesitate to compare it to the customer service in the Greater Toronto Area. Unfortunately I was in the store today and the owners have decided to take an anti-mask stance, and I can't bring myself to support someone who would so thoughtlessly put others in their community at-risk. Of course if you're into the whole anti-mask/it's my right, yada, yada, knock yourself out...
