We recently visited Rasoi, hoping for a pleasant dining experience, but it turned out to be quite disappointing. From the start, the service was subpar. A non-Indian staff member was particularly rude and inattentive. She didn’t provide us with a menu initially, and we had to ask for it when she came to take our order. After placing our order, we noticed that customers who arrived after us were being served first and even finishing their meals while we were still waiting. After waiting for what felt like half an hour, we called the staff member to check on our food. Her response was shockingly dismissive: “I don’t know. There are many orders. When the cook cooks your food, I will get it.” She walked away without offering any explanation or apology. After waiting even longer, she came back and asked us, “What was your order again?” It was clear she had completely forgotten our order. After repeating it, the food was served within minutes, proving it had been overlooked the entire time. Despite this mishap, the staff member remained unapologetic, which added to the frustration. Unfortunately, the food itself was average at best and didn’t make up for the poor service. Overall, our experience at Rasoi was deeply disappointing. The lack of professionalism, rude service, and mediocre food made it an evening we’d rather not repeat. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
