Best octopus I've ever had. Owner told us they didn't do spaghetti alle vongole that day because their supplier hadn't sent them the best quality product - you can tell the importance they place on only selling the best. But they had mussels instead, and they were incredibly juicy. Tiramisu with salted caramel for dessert was heavenly! My partner and I went out for dinner and we walked up and down the strip to find somewhere suitable for our last night in Camogli, we came across Rasa and asked if we could have a table for 2 despite not having a booking. Who I assume is the owner, asked us to wait for a table, which is fine, however we seemed like a massive inconvenience to him and the establishment. Yes, we may not speak Italian but we tried our best to communicate effectively in English. We had to ask for a wine list after waiting 20 minutes, and the response was “red or white” with no other options or mention of price. The owner seemed to just be frustrated at everything and stumbling around the place. He repeatedly bumped into the back of my head with no apology. As well as this, when we were served our mains we had no cutlery and my partner had to go in and ask the only other worker who seemed to be the chef. While our food became cold. Lastly, the table next to us who was a rowdy group who seemed to be friendly with the owners smashed a bottle off our table at the end and we were left to clean it up ourselves. The bill had a service charge plus an additional 10% on all items, this would be fine if we were actually provided with a good service, which we definitely were not. Overall the atmosphere and service tarnished our experience of hospitality in Camogli, very disappointed and would not recommend, especially if you are an English tourist who doesn’t want to be treated like a ghost. Avete evidentemente sbagliato locale. Fate bene a sconsigliarlo a quelli come voi che non apprezzano il cibo hanno fretta e raccontano bugie per colpire chi vi somiglia. Soprattutto non chiediamo supplemento di 10 % per il servizio. Ma siete sicuri di essere venuti da noi?

Fantastic experience. We were looking for a place to eat good quality food and fish. The RASA BISTROT immediately struck us with its intimate setting and curious atmosphere. The menu, already from the menu, makes clear the attention to quality that chef Anna reserves for the choice of raw materials. Warm and easy welcome, we had two starters (tartare of the catch of the day, the freshness of the fish was palpable and delicious scampi on potato cream) then a first course (paccheri with very tasty red mullet ragout) and a second course (sword parmigiana which perfectly combined the flavor of the sea with that of home). Far from the banality of tourist menus, the bistro offers competence and familiarity. In addition to the excellent quality of the fish, the service and conversation were also very pleasant. I recommend it to everyone, very honest prices and kindness. We will definitely return. Price per person: €30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
