Just stopped at this place for dinner.. The limited available space and layout options do affect the overall ambience feel. So your best choice here is to get seats around the bar, but that area offers mostly tables for 2...I was not able to explore this dining place, but there might be another area at the back, possibly a party room. Food was a 'hit and miss' kind of thing. First, the portions are relatively small, more like appetizer-sized plates. The biggest disappointment was the red beet salad, followed by not exactly well-seasoned and prepared lamb shank. The lasagna was OK, but for those used to the more original Italian flavors, even this plate will leave them with desiring more. The pork dish they call a ‘trio of pork’ was again just fine, but the quality of the pork cuts was not premium, and the bean base was more of a “canned beans” nature than a chef’s prepared, seasoned bean base. ?! If people around the table compliment most a simple, yet colorful plate covered with spread olive oil mixed with chives, parsley, honey, crushed red chilli pepper seeds, and a whipped feta cheese served with grilled pieces of baguette bread…that might paint the picture of our experience on its own?! Our table was served well….with very good attention to details….thank you for that…so we were served well, but the presented food needs some work IMHO. The noise level was low enough to have a good conversation at the table during our dinner. I would like to thank the person who served our table. Just wow! The food, service and the atmosphere was amazing. The food will blow your taste buds away and the prices are very reasonable. Aria was our server and she was so kind and didn’t overwhelm us. Definitely would recommend her service to anyone looking to come here. Thank you Aria! I still can't stop thinking about the meal I had at Rapscallion and Co. The food is absolutely outstanding. At the risk of being dramatic, the whipped feta is a religious experience. I wish I could eat that every day. The servers were also friendly and attentive, and happy to give recommendations. The atmosphere is stylish and comfortable, making it great for date nights or time with friends and family. I wish I lived in Hamilton so I could come here more often! Food: 5 Price per person: CA$60–70
