Authentic high quality Indian food. Recommend highly. I am writing this to ensure tourists in this area know what restaurants are good and bad. We had Fahny as our server and he was amazing. He was very attentive and made our experience very pleasurable. Maged was also excellent. Highly recommend this place to anyone in the area. Nestled between the Hilton and Waldorf hotels, Raj serves a decent Indian biryani and a variety of snacks at surprisingly reasonable prices. Chicken biryani wasn't the best, but given the limited choice of Indian restaurants in Cairo, it was good. The biryani was moist, chicken was tender and well spiced, accompanied by a ratha. Punjabi samosas were also good. The ambience was outstanding, and the place was clean and very well managed. Service was equally good. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
