Whoever welcomes you makes you feel immediately at ease, an informal and very nice, intimate place. Good veggie burger, certainly more appreciable if you follow a vegan diet. I went to Radicetonda for dinner, a comfortable and intimate atmosphere, even though the tables are very close together. I liked going to choose the food directly at the counter and that there is also table service. The food is good but nothing exceptional, perhaps the price is a little high for the offer on offer. Many dishes are already sold out at 8pm but that's okay given that they also do a take away gastronomy service. What I absolutely did not like is the use of disposable crockery and napkins (even though compostable/biodegradable): if the mission of the restaurant is the promotion of environmental protection (as stated on the site) why not use ceramic plates, steel and glass glasses in order to create 0 waste instead of all the stuff that, for each diner, is thrown away after just one use? The half liter water in a PLASTIC bottle was truly the icing on the cake EDIT following the owners' response: I suggest a bit of study on the topic, it is worrying that restaurateurs with a professed attention and mission on environmental issues do not know that dishwashers and detergent have much less impact than several dozen plates, cutlery, glasses and napkins thrown away every day. The theme is to limit the production of new waste as much as possible, given that the disposal and recycling system cannot handle the load, not free production as they are compostable! The energy argument doesn't hold up, do you compost your waste in the yard? or do you throw them in the waste which is then collected by AMSA with their vehicles which - oh well - consume energy to move? But then what does it mean that there is no space for that type of crockery? The ones you currently use will also be more compact and less bulky, but you will certainly have more of them than you would need if you used the reusable ones! Are you kidding me? No comment on plastic water, I feel really cheated, I hope that at least the jugs are introduced as soon as possible. Unfortunately, in the Via Spallazani office we don't have enough space to organize a ceramic and glass service (not that the use of detergents and the energy needed for the washer-dryers are much more sustainable...). In any case, in the headquarters in Piazza Buozzi, where in the evening we opened the spin-off Nori Way (plant based sushi), you will be able to find that type of service. Returning to entirely compostable plates and cutlery, it is true that they increase the amount of temporary collection, but not of final waste. Regarding water bottles, attempts have been made in the past to make them compostable, but the technology does not yet allow for the creation of a reliable product.
