I never go out of my way to review anything unless I felt strongly about something. So here is my experience of this place. I've been meaning to check this place out for over 5 years and I finally got a chance to come down here with some friends for a big boxing event (Manny Pacquiao).First thing that happened, the waitress was talking to us after we were seated and she literally dug her finger into her mouth and used her long finger nails to pick out a piece of food that was stuck inbetween her teeth and ate it. Like wow real classy...Anyway we requested to change tables with chairs that had back rests rather than bar stools and also a better view of the big screen and she let us move so that was nice of her.The big screen had horrible quality I think it was a projector. For an establishment that plays big sports events I'd expect the highest quality televisions and projectors for viewing. They had these blue lights shooting downward from the ceiling which was extremely blinding while looking upward to watch the big screen. Here's what really pissed me off. After the fight they immediately interview the fighters to get their opinions and such. The sports bar mutes the TV and plays music over it!! Like seriously?!? The interview is just as important as the fight and is apart of it. When I asked the server what happened to the audio from the TV she says they always mute the commentary at the end and play music instead. I'm like the entire fight had commentary what's the difference....Normally at a bar the server would come to your table and tell you it's last call incase you wanted to get one more drink. When we asked to get a few more drinks she said last call was 20 minutes ago. This was roughly around 1am. Oh and it was also daylight savings time so the clocks turn back 1 hour so technically it was just midnight. Just as they were closing we paid for our bill and we're waiting for our change and the security kept coming to our table intimidating us and trying to get us to leave. The waitress took forever to bring the change. There's also a forced tip of 18% just so you know. They close early and we were forced to go to another bar to end our night. 2 stars just because you let us move tables. If you're gonna have a name like "Real Sports Bar and Grill" you have to live up to the name. Especially when you're in a prime location in Toronto and sell over priced items in the menu. I definitely won't be coming back here again.
