Sacrée expérience disruptive. Les plats sont très étonnants et très bons. Le service un peu moins. Le lieu en terrasse ok mais pas ouf. Très cher.

Un agréable endroit qui vous fait voyager en Indonésie. Les serveurs vous explique avec beaucoup de détail les plats qui sont sous le signe du partage. Je vous recommande leur cocktail qui sont très bon

I understood that Ron Gastrobar would be an informal version of a star restaurant with refined bistro dishes. It felt like a cozy bar-bistro (with too loud music, but we sat under the speaker). There were many families. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it for a special or romantic occasion. Food: The food at Ron Gastrobar was generally tasty. They are small dishes. Some dishes were highlights for me: Food highlights: - Scallop flan with beurre blanc - BBQ Leek with ponzu and mustard seeds - Pointed cabbage with harissa and dark miso - Broccoli with ponzu butter and chili-garlic crunch - All dessert options were very tasty. Critical food points: - Dutch hare: My father was really looking forward to the Dutch hare, but it was already gone at the beginning of the evening (reservation at 6:15 PM) - Beef Wellington: Then ordered the Beef Wellington twice: it was wrapped in very thin puff pastry, bacon in between and morel gravy. The gravy was really necessary to season the whole thing. The beef wellington was too dry for me personally. - Wagyu: We ordered 400 grams of Wagyu, but received a 420 gram piece with a thick, inedible fat edge. We had to pay extra for this. For me the wagyu was overcooked. Atmosphere: The music was a bit too loud (but we were also sitting right under a speaker), so we had to talk loudly (shout) all evening and left feeling overstimulated. In addition, there were some hygiene issues, such as a lot of chewing gum under the tables, broken gravy barrels and bent forks. I would also like to mention that this is the only star restaurant I know where the end time is mentioned to all guests upon arrival. Service: The service was very friendly, but seemed inexperienced. We sat for a long time with empty water bottles on the table. Our order was also not always taken correctly, which resulted in missing dishes and confusion at checkout. We did get super cute mini ice creams to make up for the mistakes. Conclusion: A rating of 6 (3 Google stars) reflects my overall feeling. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €100+ Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2
