Yesterday afternoon at 4.30pm I went to this service area to fill up. It was raining and cold. There was no one outside, but since it was LPG I necessarily had to wait for an operator to proceed. After a few seconds of arriving I honked the horn to warn of my arrival. Immediately afterwards a man came out and, in a threatening manner and shouting like a furious madman, he railed and shouted at me, saying: "What are you playing? You play for dogs! Go away!!" And by chasing me away in a bad way, I didn't even think I had offended his relatives and deceased! It certainly wasn't my intention to disrespect anyone, my little tap of the horn wasn't meant to be an impatient call, but I just wanted to signal my arrival, considering that there was rain and little visibility (at that moment I didn't think about whether had had cameras and monitors to see me from the booth/checkout), but in any case the reaction and reception were devastating and unjustified. I was stunned and left avoiding any type of discussion. Obviously I will never return! They could also have pointed out to me that the horn was unwelcome, for goodness sake, but such a reaction has no justification. To never again!
