このレストランが大好きです! The staff is from Japan and it shows. Fantastic service, and great food. Even have ramen options without pork - with chicken, vegetarian and vegan. Highly recommend. The staff is super nice! And the green tea is super subtle and great. It was so good I came twice in the same day. おいしー! Vegetarian options: They have both vegetarian and vegan options. I’m not gonna lie, this place stopped hitting for a few years for me. BUT I recently went again and my friends and I were very satisfied with our meals. My favorite thing from this place is not the ramen (because honestly I don’t even like ramen that much), it’s the chicken karaage. I LOVE my chicken karaage and I’ve had really good ones in Japan and for some reason, despite how busy they were on that day, the karaage SLAPPED. The ramen was amazing too of course, but if you opened a place called “Karaage Ichinen” let me be the first customer. This place has always been great service-wise. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ramen Ichinen, and it was an absolute delight from start to finish. I'm always on the lookout for exceptional spots and Ramen Ichinen exceeded my expectations. I opted for the Tonkatsu black with thick noodles/corn and it was beyond delicious. The broth was rich, flavourful, and you could truly taste the dedication and time that went into making the broth. Each sip was extremely flavourful and you can tell that they took their time in making their broths. Although I live in SE Calgary, I would gladly make the drive down here just to enjoy their ramen again. That's how good it was! The dedication to quality doesn't stop at the food; the service was impeccable. The servers were attentive, friendly, and truly added to the overall enjoyment to my meal. If you're in or around Calgary, Ramen Ichinen is a must-visit. Whether you're a ramen aficionado or simply looking for a memorable dining experience, this restaurant delivers on all fronts.
