I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! TERRIBLE FOOD! I went on a Friday afternoon. I ordered two soups, one with beef and one with periwinkle. Both were more sweet than sour. For the second course, I ordered Paella and pork with Greek-style lemon sauce. The paella was worse than a pomana pilaf, the rice was so sticky that you couldn't even distinguish the rice grains, but I could eat it. In contrast, the pork with lemon sauce was awful. Half with skins and scraps, the other half could not be cut even with a knife. I told the waitress that you can't eat something like that and she recommended us to order something else. I haven't tried anything else, considering that out of 4 dishes ordered, none were good. Oh yes, the cheese fries were the only edibles. Conclusion: THE WORST FOOD I've ever eaten at a restaurant. My recent visit to the Queen Elisabeth restaurant in Constanta, Romania, left me with mixed feelings and moderate to bad impressions. While there were some positive aspects, there were also some drawbacks that affected my overall experience. Let's start with the positive aspects. The interior of the restaurant had a charming, old-fashioned ambience that transported me to another time. The décor and atmosphere were reminiscent of a bygone era and I loved that so much effort had been made to create a unique and nostalgic environment. However, it's important to mention that my experience deteriorated when it came to the service. Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired, which seemed to be more of a cultural issue than a lack of competence or friendliness on the part of the staff.. The food was also underwhelming. I decided to start with bruschetta as a starter to test the quality of the cuisine. Unfortunately, it failed to impress me and I decided not to proceed with a main course. One notable drawback was the unpleasant smell that prevailed in the restaurant. The stale air affected the overall atmosphere. In summary, my visit to the Queen Elisabeth Restaurant in Constanta was a rather disappointing experience. While the interior design and ambience evoked a sense of nostalgia, the service, food and unpleasant smell in the restaurant left much to be desired. It's clear that there is room for improvement in some areas to provide guests with a more pleasant dining experience.
