If a person says they don't want something, they should respect that and not put it there. It is incredibly rude to listen to the kitchen allude to every wish of the customers. If the "cook" does not want to make changes in the kitchen, let the staff not offer it. It's incredibly disappointing to treat a paying customer like that, if the person behind the door wants to say something, he'd better keep his mouth shut.
