Ordered on Uber eats and order on Saturday, May 4. The promotion on the banner says you get $8 off any orders over $35 on Friday’s and Saturday’s. As you can see, no such promotion was applied. I decided to call the store and speak with an employee so they could apply the promotion as I clearly qualified for the advertised promotion. The person on the phone was clearly aware of the promotion and issue because he would not let me speak and kept repeating, “No, no, no, that’s a third party and the promotion does not apply.” Honestly, his abrupt response and tone was inappropriate for the situation at hand. If the promotion does not apply, it is false advertisement. I told him to honor my request for $8 off (the principle at this point, really) and then take off the promotion so others don’t fall for the false advertising. He hung up on me and then refused to pick the phone up again. Nice customer service Uber eats was super helpful and are going to refund the order which we will not be eating, and instead giving it away to an unsuspecting stranger! Turning a negative experience into a positive one and making sure everyone knows about the service at this independently owned Pizza Hut.
