The food is delicious, they have great pasta but the manager is a very rude person. I sat there for 30 minutes without being recognized. People came after me and they were asked for their drink order and so on. I politely asked to speak to the manager just so that I could bring it to his attention how I felt I was being treated and when I explained (very quickly and respectfully and low of the voice so that I do not disturb the others with my complaint) that I had been sitting there and not even getting water, he took the menu from me and said "ok you go bye bye" ... When you own a business, you will find people who are not always satisfied with the service, but the the professional attitude to adopt is to listen and respond, not to be immediately upset and to put someone out simply because they say something that you do not agree with. We are adults, if you cannot as a manager address your customers concerns without getting upset . I asked for a cappuccino and he said "No, we are closed". I have never been treated like that in any institution in the United States or abroad. It is wrong to treat people this way, whether they are local or foreign. I do not recommend this place to foreigners and when I return to Paris I will never spend money here again! I'll also be updating my blog in regards to the service and how I was treated. Shame on you La Piazza. I was the only person of color in the establishment and noticed that I was also the only person who had not been serviced. This just goes to show that no matter where I travel, ignorant people like your manager will always exist. God doesn't like ugly and please keep in mind that however you treat people it will be returned to you tenfold. Shame on you!
