Une attraction locale - St. Andrew's Cathedral, qui est située tout près de ce restaurant, fait partie de la culture authentique de la ville. La cuisine vietnamienne est bien préparée à Pho Hoa Restaurant. Un personnel compétent est la seule chose qui puisse gâcher votre soirée dans ce lieu. Un service rapide est toujours un plaisir.

This used to be my favorite.. in the last few years it's gone so down hill in terms or service. Tonight they screwed up our order which left me not eating while my family all did without even an apology. Last time I'll ever go back.

I've been going to this restaurant for years, off and on, when it was Pho Hoa and now, apparently, it's a Pho Boi.
The pho is very satisfying, better than most places in Victoria, in my opinion, and akin to my favourite spot in Vancouver. You can get a good bowl for less than ten bucks. They bring you lots of shoots, peppers, with lime and tea. There is lovely chili oil at every table which I really like to put liberally into their number 1 or 3 (rare steak and rare steak and meatballs). I only go for the pho.
My only nit is that the staff never, ever, smile. Not now, and not formerly. There is a sense of coldness when you order, or know what you want to order. There is always a sign outside looking for part-time cooks and waitresses, so I'm gathering that the working environment is not as happy as it could be. Plus the tables aren't always that clean.
Again, though, I continue to go for the delicious pho.
