I have had better rice vermicelli elsewhere, but the service was fine. They get more points for the decor and ambience for a pho place. Unfortunately, the beef was a bit dry and I would have preferred more meet in the spring rolls. All other aspects of the dish were fine. The durian shake didn’t have as much durian flavour as I would have wanted. Overall, food wasn’t bad, but I would prefer to try a different pho joint. I recently picked up dinner from Pho Ao Sen. I ordered their Grilled Chicken with Rice Noodle Soup, as recommended by the server. The well-seasoned chicken with a generous amount of broccoli, carrots and celery made for a flavorful dish. However, I found the broth to have a slightly store-bought like taste, which didn't resonate well with me. In contrast, their rare beef pho, that I had tried previously, left a more favorable impression. The taro pearl milk tea was a delight, boasting a yummy flavor without being overly sweet.
